GOT THIS! Queen, Mother, and CEO 

I love helping people reach their goals by helping them believe in themselves. I started helping people reach their goals long before I became a professionally trained therapist.  I’m originally from all over Texas and Los Angeles, but I have been in the Berkeley, California area for over 30 years. I’ve helped start and run all sorts of projects and programs working with the homeless, disabled, LGBTQA+, health, education, equity and inclusion groups for communities of color, aging, youth, interfaith, sports, children’s running clubs, immigrants, mental health, public policies, violence prevention, opioid reduction, and even pioneered healthy efforts for county fairs. That’s how I know that if we set the right goal, we can reach that goal, even if it takes some time to get there. I am a First 5 Contra Costa Commissioner for Early Childhood and serve as a commissioner for the Kaiser Foundation Research Institute’s Institutional Review Board.  In my spare time, I like spending time with my son, traveling, and running half marathons around the world with my friends and family.

I’m María Cristina Criollo or “Cris.” I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Development, a Master's Degree in Environmental and Social Studies, and am a certified specialist on climate change and strategic planning. I am the co-founder of La Cuchara Cultural and Gastronomic Center, an award-winning organic, plant-based restaurant and fair trade store in Quito. I moved to the Bay Area in 2017 with my family and currently work in social media marketing, sustainable business development, and fundraising. I live in West Marin, California with my husband and two children. I love helping businesses and individuals think more strategically and sustainably about their goals for optimal success.

Director of Emergency Management and Resilience Solutions

Hello, I’m Doug Pittman and I bring over 40 years of experience working in public safety and

emergency management. I have been directly involved in managing many crises and large

scale and catastrophic media covered events such major crime scenes, civil disturbances, and

many of the large scale wildland fires working for CalFire in Northern CA since 2011. My

Masters research was on the use of Virtual Command Systems; their use in Emergency

Operations Centers.

I now channel my experience working with both public and private companies, institutions, and

communities who are looking for strategies to manage distress during unexpected and

unforeseen emergent and chaotic situations, and to boost resilience during recovery using Got

This!

I am a true supporter of Got This! and it’s fear calming evidence-based techniques it brings

directly to the fingertips of its users. I’ve worked my whole career dealing with the unexpected,

sometimes the unknown, but always stressful knowing my decisions would have far reaching

impact to others. Practice and training has been the primary tools in my toolbox in preparing for

what may lie ahead. Got This! Is the tool everyone should have in their own toolbox to help

them prepare and manage their own personal stresses when faced with their own obstacles and

challenges.

I believe in people and enjoy aligning individuals with their passions and beliefs to work.   I have extensive education in Human Resources and have worked across sectors from tech and entertainment to health and government. I love cooking, traveling, and savoring cuisines from various parts of the world. One of my favorite goals has been checking off my father’s “bucket list trips” where we visited all 50 states before he went back to stay in Taiwan.

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I studied hospitality management at San Francisco City College and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I love applying my hospitality knowledge through education and 10+ years experience in hotels into everything I do. One of my favorite duties has been helping my VIP clients meet their dreams and goals. In my spare time I love to travel with my dog, Oprah.

GOT THIS! Youth Outreach Coordinator

As a lifelong student and occasional teacher, I am always looking for ways to make learning and student life less stressful and more fun! I live in Seattle, Washington and enjoy taking public transportation everywhere I need to go. My favorite goal I’ve reached, though, is probably traveling the UK by myself right after graduating high school with a tight budget. In my spare time, I play several instruments and read anything I get my hands on.

My name is Ily, and I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but recently moved to Seattle, Washington. I am a student working toward a psychology degree. It is my dream to become a school psychologist. I believe education should be accessible to everyone regardless of background or financial status, and anyone and everyone should be able to follow their passions and dreams. I am the first member of my family to be able to attend college. When I’m off the clock, I enjoy reading, writing, and designing video games.

I feel great helping people imagine their dreams and make them actually come to life.  I spent my 30 years as a police officer keeping communities safe and helping people turn their lives around.  Now, as a realtor, I help people see their lives change and grow as they choose their homes.  Real estate has its stressors too though.  Will folks be able to afford their dream home?  What if they don't get approved for their loan?  Some times other life circumstances make choosing a home even more stressful.  Moving is also one of the biggest stressors in life.  I enjoy sharing Got This! with those that just need a little support through difficult times until they are able to see what they have built come to life.
